Parental Participation

At Trinity, we recognise the gifts of our parents by involving them in valuable, meaningful and worthwhile activities in the life of our school.

There are a variety of opportunities for families to participate in different ways.

The Mamre Team

Our Trinity 'Mamre Team' is the term we use for all of our parents and guardians here at our school. This year we will meet once each term to share learning, share school information, and invite your involvement in school issues and fundraising. Please check 'the Transmitter,' our school newsletter, for dates and times of these sessions.

We welcome parent / caregiver consultation, advice and discernment in decision making at our school, and this is a key forum to allow us to work in partnership.

Assisting in learning groups

There are many ways that parents can assist in learning groups:

  • assisting children with their writing
  • reading to children
  • helping with developmental play in the infants
  • helping children with art and craft activities
  • participating in gross motor and sporting activities

Volunteer Training

We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.

As we are committed to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.
