CSPD school libraries are physical and digital places of inquiry and reading.
They provide access to a range of resources that help students on their Learning journey and help inspire purposeful learning.
Through access to our library resources and services, students develop a range of learner dispositions and capabilities to cultivate a culture of curiosity, creativity, imagination and innovation.
Our Learning and Resource Centre (LARC)
At Trinity, all students have the opportunity to borrow books weekly from our LARC which incorporates our library. Each learning group also has a bulk loan of books, both fiction and non-fiction, for students to read as part of their literacy program.
Our Teacher Librarian works closely with learning group teachers to expose the students to a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction texts, both print-based and electronic, and to give our students experiences which are vital for developing their literacy skills. A particular focus in the LARC is the promotion of good quality literature.
The LARC is a modern, bright and airy space with well-designed spaces for a variety of student activities from research to reading. The furniture is flexible and includes comfy couches for quiet reading and reflection.
eLibrary
All our students have access to the eLibrary - the ultimate digital learning tool for reading and learning.
The virtual library provides unlimited access to thousands of e-books, e-magazines, audiobooks, videos, research information and even bilingual resources with just the click of a button.
